Snails, Snails and More Snails!

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to say happy summer break to everyone!  I honor of this fabulous time of being off  and my new blogging experience I want to share a FREEBIE with you all for the Common Core Standard of  Counting and Cardinality!  I found some cute little snail clip art in a RAINBOW of colors from  Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah designs.  I decided to use these cute little snails to make some math center activities and then follow up with some practice sheets to help reinforce the concepts.  I am always on the look out to find Common Core Standard driven work so I thought I would make some for CCS of Counting and Cardinality  for the Kindergarten Standards.  I have them all listed at on my TPT store but thought I would share the freebie with everyone! :) I hope you all can use it!  I plan on using it at the beginning of the year with my Kiddos since the first chapter of new series starts with Counting and Cardinality!  Happy day to all and I hope to hear more from you on what you think of this little freebie and the centers that go with it!  I have created these for my Kinder students but they could easily be used in a Pre-K classroom or beginning 1st Grade classroom as well, especially if you have a struggling firstie with number and counting concepts!

TO get your FREE SNAIL COUNTING 0-5 practice sheets you can click on the link  to get your download!

Thank you for visiting my new blog and your support!

Happy Friday and Happy Blogging to everyone!

New to the blogging world!

Well let's see.  I am new to the blogging world.  I started blogging because I feel that it is a great way to gain more knowledge and ideas from others.  I have gotten a lot of GREAT ideas and saw things I would not have thought of from visiting other blogs.   I also feel it can be a great way to let go of some stress through fun and creative way.  I have started dabbling in making my own teacher created resources this year and have really grown used to having things to make for skills that are interesting and not the same old center ideas.  I have gotten a lot of really neat ideas and activities from other blogs too.  I feel that it is time to start sharing back or "paying it forward" as some may say.  So here's to happy blogging and  sharing more fun activities to use in school!  I have heard from some people how do you have time, how do you do it,  you have a small child at home (a very active almost 2 year old) a husband, and a dog. My motto is if you are passionate enough about something then you will have time to do it all. I am passionate about teaching and love my profession almost as much as I love my family. One of my favorite sayings is "Where there is a will, there is a way".   So let's let the fun begin and I hope you will chose to follow along in my journey of sharing ideas and activities to making  school fun again....
Happy Blogging and enjoy a very well deserved SUMMER BREAK to all that are just ending the school year! ~
